Brussel Sprouts WOW! This is the first and only time I’ve ever cooked Brussel spouts or eaten them for that matter and I must say this is super delicious. My family was hesitant but loved them with first bite. Try this dish out for your yourself and let us know what you think. (Serves 4).
1 pound organic Brussel sprouts, shredded (the Ninja made this quick & easy)
1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter
1/2 teaspoon organic ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons fresh squeezed orange juice
1/2 cup dried cranberries (feel free to use Raisins)
1/2 cup raw pecans (or the nut of your choice)
1. Warm the coconut oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add in the shredded Brussels sprouts, cinnamon, salt and orange juice and stir until the greens are bright and slightly wilted, about 3 minutes.
3. Remove from the heat and add in the cranberries and pecans, tossing to combine, and serve warm.
