Prayers For PowerHouse Peyton

My grandson Peyton will be having two heart surgeries this week. He is now three years old and his blood flow is around 70% so his body is struggling to keep up with the active little guy.

Monday morning they will operate to repair a problem that is causing his heart to race and they will also be doing his third heart catheterization which will prepare him and the doctors for the third heart bypass surgery which will taking place on Tuesday morning the third heart bypass surgery which will taking place on Tuesday morning.

The bypass surgery on Tuesday is known as the Fontan. With the Fontan, a passageway is created for oxygen-poor blood to bypass the right ventricle and travel directly to the lungs for fresh oxygen. This is done with the hopes of avoiding the use of artificial material in his heart, while achieving a smooth stream-lined blood flow from veins to the lungs which should retain his growth potential as he matures.

Peyton needs all the prayers that he can get so please take some time to thank God for all the miracles he has worked on this little guy so far and ask Him to be with Peyton during this surgery and the healing process as he takes this journey in life.the third heart bypass surgery which will be taking place on Tuesday morning.
