Soaking Up a Sunless Tan

If you love a nice looking tan but want to protect your skin from the dangers of the sun, a self tanning lotion is one of the best, least expensive options. Up until last year, I’d never used a self tanning lotion. Being very fair-skinned, I was fearful of looking like an oompa loompa straight out of Willie Wonka’s chocolate factory. Geesh…….how scary……no thanks!

But on vacation last year, I noticed one of my girlfriends using the Banana Boat, Sunless Summer Color, Self Tanning Lotion in the shade Deep Dark, which really had me surprised because she is a platinum blonde and back in the day her skin was even fairer than mine.

Her tan looks fabulous year round now and she looks 10 years younger than her age so I’m still kicking myself for never having asked her how she’s kept herself and her tan looking so good all these years.

I purchased this self tanning lotion in the Deep Dark as soon as we got home and I’ve been using it ever since and love – love – love it!

I put it on every morning and again every night on the days that I work out and it keeps me looking freshly tanned with a very natural looking color all the time.

After a recent trip to the beach, I also found that this lotion is good for keeping your natural tan longer, in between time spent in the sun and the price can’t be beat at around $7.00 a tube.

Check out the product and the Banana Boat website HERE.

  1. I used to live and work abroad in my younger years, I didn’t give a hoot, I was out there all day, baby oiled up. Then as I got older, I became more comfortable out of the sun but missed having a glow. Then!…I too discovered a really great mile sun tanning lotion…I’ve never looked back.
Ok…the damage was done when I was younger, I can’t repair that now, it’s in the Lord’s hands but I can go forward comfortable and not trying to damage myself any further!
    Bless you.
I love life…that we can go from super serious stuff to the mundane and unimportant. The Son to Sunless!! (Now there’s a post in the making!!) hahahaha
