This book is, by far, the most helpful book I’ve ever read. It’s powerful in its approach with revolutionary insight. Insight that truly changed my perspective on my childhood pain in a lot of ways. This is a first person clear and powerful account of child abuse (physically & mentally), child rape, sex trafficking, child pornography, and torture; and how one girl grew into a woman, who not only worked to overcome such horrors, but had such a determination, she went on to become a doctor.
