‘What is Love?’ Behind the scenes on WQXD with Special Guest Sandy Hicks

We cover a lot here so keep listening. We mess up, we laugh, we learn, we get distracted, we listen, we talk and we’re sharing some of the deepest part of ourselves in an effort to reach out and help others. We’re not professionals, we are God children, flawed in areas like everyone else, always growing, loving and learning.

I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to share your thoughts and wisdom. We gladly cover any and all topic and we don’t shy away from the real issues that need to be dealt with and addressed every day.

  1. It was wonderful to hear the interview with Sandy Hicks. It’s the first entire show heard and thoroughly enjoyed! You brave souls described your definition of love which was insightful. It made me think about what love is. Sometimes when I can define something, it’s a little easier to begin to actually apply it to my life. I think (after listening to the show) love is giving with the goal of doing what is best for everyone involved. Giving even with the best in mind for everyone who will be affected by those involved. Sometimes that means being like you say, brutally honest, sometimes it means being kind or setting aside my goals for what brings others closer to God. It’s so much easier said than done, but worth surrender to God and the effort put into it.

    1. Thank you so much, Nan, for listening to the show and for your comments. I totally agree with what you are saying, all way to it not always being easy but well worth it in the long run.
